Ferrari Roma Spider launched in Brazil with special guests on a night designed to be "La Nuova Dolce Vita".
The Spider model maintains the same proportions, dimensions and specifications as the successful Ferrari Roma V8 2+2 concept. One of its highlights is the iconic soft top - a solution that marks, 54 years after the 1969 365 GTS4, the glorious return of the feature to a Ferrari car with a front mid-engine.
In terms of performance, the roof is particularly short, taking 13.5 seconds to open and close, even at a top speed of 60 km/h. The redesign of the roof required a review of the design of the rear window, which is housed under the hood when retracted, due to its steep slope at the rear.
As luxury is always taken to the extreme at Ferrari, the Roma Spider model is no different. The aluminum chassis ensures lightness and a sophisticated design to combine with the 620 hp V8 engine from the engine family that has been awarded “International Engine of the Year” for four consecutive editions. The engine is mated to Ferrari's 8-speed DCT gearbox, known for its lightning-fast gear changes.
